Safety Upgrade to an Automated Underground Car Park Door in Stock, Essex

Premier Gate Automation recently returned to an exclusive gated residential development in Stock, Essex, to carry out a safety upgrade to an automated garage door serving the secure underground car park.

We originally installed the automated entrance several years ago and have returned to upgrade the safety equipment as part of the continued care of the system.

Automated doors serving shared underground car parks can experience frequent daily use, making ongoing maintenance and periodic safety reviews particularly important. As equipment, technology and safety requirements develop, existing installations can benefit from additional or upgraded safety measures to ensure they remain appropriate for the way the entrance is being used.

For this project, our engineers reviewed the existing installation and carried out the required safety improvements while retaining the main automated garage door system.

It is a good example of the long-term approach we take to automated entrances. Our involvement does not have to end when an installation is commissioned. Through ongoing maintenance, repairs and safety upgrades, we can continue looking after a system throughout its working life.
